It all began with a right swipe on Bumble and a simple "hey" from Amanda. Soon after striking up a conversation, Chris and Amanda had their first date at Getaway Brewing in Dublin. However, it wasn't until their third date that they knew that had something special, when they bonded over their shared love of Harry Potter and tv shows like Parks and Recreation and 30 Rock.

From there, their relationship grew quickly and they soon began spending most of their time together exploring Chris's neighborhood in downtown Columbus or Amanda's in Bridge Park, Dublin. They began to travel together and had many wonderful trips including a visit to Amanda's college town of Athens, OH, a whirlwind trip to France and Spain, and a quiet winter cabin weekend in Hocking Hills. In early 2023, Chris and Amanda found the home of their dreams in Dublin and moved in together with their loveably rambunctious pup, Remy.

Fast forward to February 2024, Chris surprised Amanda with a proposal outside of the very place they first met, Getaway Brewing. To make the day even more special, Chris arranged (with the help of some wonderful friends and family) to surprise Amanda with a celebration at two of their favorite spots, Seventh Son and Plas.

Chris and Amanda share a love for exploring new restaurants and breweries and becoming "locals" at a few of their favorite spots including Eat Chapman's, Basi Italia, Seventh Son, and Jackie O's. Chris is passionate about golf and has an impressive collection of craft beers in the basement that he loves sharing with his friends and family. Amanda enjoys reading, traveling, and going on walks with Remy.

As they look forward to their wedding day, they are thrilled to celebrate this next chapter with their loved ones in the place they now both call home, Columbus.
